Atkins Diet: The Holidays — Planned Problems or Planned Solutions

My attempt to help prepare for the upcoming holidays. One of the more important items for long terms success is knowing how you are going to react to stressful situations, and the holidays for most people certainly classifies as such. There is still a lot of time between now and then to put into place actions to avoid much of the stress. You can be the person who is the talk of the holidays due to your success or perhaps the person who they have inward sympathy. I was happy that I could wear my new lifestyle on my sleeve, but I offer suggestions how to make a non-issue of it as well for those not quite willing to do it yet.

Here are a couple:
* be the cook or bring more than enough legal food to the Pot-Providence (aka “Potluck”) dinner
* be more into the socializing rather than the eating
* keep yourself busy during the family functions

I hope this helps make the holidays easier for all of you.
