Atkins Diet Videos: Low Carb Cheesecake
This is my first video in 2007, and I return to the kitchen in making my favorite new dessert, a low carb non-bake cheesecake. This cheesecake is better than any no-bake cheesecake mix that you would buy in the store. I normally have two problems with cheesecake recipes:
-
Time & Effort required to make it. If it takes too long, the benefits or “ROI” is significantly diminished.
-
The final product — let it cool even a tad too quick, and voila` you have a gigantic crack to cover or attempt to explain away.
With this recipe, you have neither. You have to try this one.

CREAMY NO-BAKE CHEESECAKE
1 packet unflavored gelatin
3/4 cup vanilla flavored sugar free syrup
24 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
“Graham Cracker” Pie Crust *
Prepare crust according to recipe for baked crust. In a small pot, sprinkle gelatin over 1/2 cup syrup and let soften 5 minutes. Heat and stir over low heat to dissolve gelatin completely. Beat cream cheese with remaining 1/4 cup syrup until creamy. Gradually beat in gelatin mixture. Chill until slightly thickened, about 1 hour, gently whisking occasionally to prevent lumps. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into crust and chill until set. Mine looked set after 2 hours, but I recommend chilling at least 6 hours.

Glad to see you back online and doing more videos, Kent!
The cheesecake sounds good, although I’ve always been partial to the baked variety.

Sounds great, will have to give it a try and see how it stands up to my cheesecakes.

Bowulf, I love what you are doing. Just came across your
videos on you tube and posted some links to them on

I also kept the weight off by running and making Atkins a life long habit.
Glad you are into education and fighting the mis-information out there.
Keep up the good work.

Hello, This is Mary
I am 36 years old with 2 toddlers. My youngest just started day care last week- which still feels a little strange. I haven’t had this much time to myself in years. First thing I want to do is lose the extra pounds I put on during the last pregnancy. One of the girls next door has suggested I join her walking group two days a week. After my first pregnancy I lost around 35 pounds using the Herbalife products, but when I called the man that sold them to me three years ago he told me this week he doesn’t sell them anymore. He told me to look on the internet. It’s disappointing because he was really nice and he called me regularly to make sure I was using their products correctly. It was nice to have someone checking in with me every week to see how I was and it kept me motivated.
I searched on the internet for someone that sells Herbalife in New Jersey. I found many websites but I don’t want
just to buy the products, I want to find someone trustworthy that sells the products so I can also meet them and get started again.
Could anybody here recommend someone in New Brunswick?
.
Thanks, Mary
