Being sick under Atkins

I have been sick with the ever present flu that has circled the department. I might be just the last person to get it since everyone else has seemingly had it already. With my trip to Vegas in 4 days, I am hoping I get back to normal by then. Being able to keep nothing down would make me a lovely traveling companion right now. The positive news is at least temporarily I have lost 7 pounds over the weekend. One thing about being sick under Atkins is that normal sick comfort foods don't apply, like buttered toast or chicken noodle soup. Trying to get your stomach up to enduring some meat and cheese meal is difficult.

Are you going to have to sit on the other end of the plane.

I am doing better today, but I haven't gotten out of the house either. There is still 4 days to get a little more healthy.

Oh, man, that stinks!
Hey, try some really mild cheddar or swiss cut into small cubes. And those little cocktail weenies, on low spice, though. And, can't you do vegetables on Atkins? You can always try carrots. How about yogurt? That's bascially fruit and dairy. Some of those can be okay on a weak stomache. On the upside, as you said, you're losing weight.
The hard way.
Hang in there!
