This photo was taken at the Iowa State Fair in 2003. The shaggy weed monster rushed up on my kids, and they squealed in delight. It was pretty funny. Noticeably missing from the photo is my boy. At one look of the character he immediately hightailed behind mom's legs and would not come out despite all our coaxing.
