1/4 Cup Spaghetti Sauce, 2 oz Ground Beef, 1.5 cup Cream Turkey (Turkey, 1/4 cup Carbquick, 2 TBS Butter, onion, celery, cream)

Breakfast – Lettuce Salad, Pork Roast, Parmesan, Bacon Bits, Ranch, Salsa

Lunch – 1/2# burger, mayo, Lettuce Salad with Parmesan Dressing (Vendor Lunch)

Supper – Summer sausage 8oz, LC Ketchup, 2 cups Salad, 1 oz almonds, bacon bits, Caesar Dressing, 4 Strawberries, 8 oz Almond Breeze, 1/3rd cup Bran buds cereal

Sunday – 3/8/2009

Breakfast – delayed due to a suspicious gas fire call, which rousted me out of bed

Brunch – 5 Sausage links, 1.5 cups lettuce, 2 TBS Caesar Dressing, .5 oz Parmesan, Bacon Bits, .5 oz Almonds, 6 Strawberries, 1 oz Cream Cheese, 4 oz Almond Breeze

Snack – 2 oz Summer Sausage, 1 slice Swiss Cheese, 2.5 oz Smoked Almonds, 4 SF Sweet Pickles

Dinner – 8 oz Pork Roast, 1 TBS LC BBQ Sauce, .5 cup Green Beans, half small onion (sauteed)

Dessert – 1/3 cup Almond Breeze, 1/3rd cup Bran Buds (11g net carbs)

Exercise 4 mile run (9:30 pace) – recovery run

Saturday – 3/7/2009

This day was somewhat a disappointment as I chose to catch up on sleep rather than go out for 12 miler I should have this morning.  It was a very rainy at that time, so I did my 5 miler by myself.  It is just one more weekend I am further away from running a marathon this spring.  That may be fine to miss the 2 marathons this year goal.  I am going to get ready for at least a half marathon spring.  It comes down to desire, and I am beginning to question my desire to beat myself up for a run in May or June heat.

Brunch -- 1 Chicken Breast, Buffalo Sauce, Ranch, Bacon Bits, Ranch, 2 cups Lettuce, 1 oz Cheddar Cheese.

Lunch -- 1 Chicken Breast, Salsa, Sour Cream, Guacomole.

Snack -- 7 Strawberries, 2 cans Diet Coke Splenda

Supper -- 2 Double Cheeseburgers, no buns, 1 cup lettuce, .5 oz Parmesan Cheese, Bacon Bits, 2 TBS Creamy Italian Dressing.  1 can Pepsi

Friday – 3/6/09

Today was one of those weird days that is sometimes too common in my line of work between being a network admin and volunteer Firefighter/EMT. I was already on my way to working to 4 am when a fire call came in at 1:45am this morning. I donned my shoes and rushed out the door. It was a farmhouse that had an entryway, but it was mainly subdued by the time we arrived. We were on scene for about a hour before being released. I didn’t finish my other activities until the original expected time of 4 am, which made for a short night.

Breakfast – Salad, Bacon Bits, Parmesan Cheese, Buffalo Sauce, Ranch Dressing, 3 oz Turkey Pastrami, 1 slice swiss cheese

Lunch – gave blood (platelets)

Snack – 4 Strawberries, 2 cups Lettuce Salad, 2 TBS Caesar Dressing , Bacon Bits, Parmesan Cheese, 1 TBS Buffalo Sauce, 1 TBS Ranch Dressing, 3 oz Turkey Pastrami, 1 slice swiss cheese

Supper – Broccoli, 1.5 Chicken Breast, Home-made alfredo sauce, .5 cup Dreamfield Pasta (first time in 6 months)

After supper, we went to the new movie Watchmen, where I had lots of Diet Coke to stay awake due to lack of sleep the night before.
