That Buffalo sauce is the extra from Wing night -- the Diet Coke one. It makes a great salad addition for when you really want to kick up the flavor of your salad.

Woah...Woah.. Woah! Kent, how could you? As a fellow coca~cola fan I am very very disappointed to see that pepsi on your menu!

HA! Just kidding!

Fine menu today, is that buffalo sauce a bottled version or a Kent original? I am always looking for a good buffalo sauce.

If you'll notice in the above listing, I have "Exercise- 5.25 miles (9:20 pace ice slowed), 8 minute Abs, and planks)," so yes I am exercising. I run 4-6 times per week and work on my core strength at least 4 times as well.

Sharon -
As for how to start exercise, start trying to find something you like to do that involves you moving around. For me when I started, that was biking. I also was motivated enough just to walk 15 minutes or a mile. The point is when starting out keep it enjoyable (definitely no pain) and do it often (daily if possible). That way you start developing a habit or routine of working out. The amount of Calories burned is less important than the routine.

Erika-
That was -21C. The next day's run was a much more balmy -1C. About the only time, I really start to think about running inside like I did this week is when the roads are too icy to run, the wind chill gets below -30C, or I can't find my winter gear. (darn kids :-) ) I really need to pick up my longer runs distance, but with the kids basketball games on Saturday morning that is still a month away.

Wow, -5 degrees? That takes determination! I don't know what that is in celcius but it sounds phenomenal and I'm totally impressed. You're a fantastic example that all obstacles can be overcome if you want to :)

Big thumbs up!

Congrats on the weight loss! You sounds busy and also motivated to exercise. I've got to find that motivation somehow. Any ideas? It's very cold here too.

Hey I don't mind looking at the snow or sometimes even in going out for the run in it, but snow blowing every day gets to be a drag. I just thank God that I got a new used snow blower 2 days before these series of storms came through. For the last 4 years in this house, I would have been shoveling for a hour each day. Who needs P90x when I had shoveling duty. :-)

I am saddened to see the old guy get voted off this season. He was my motivation last night in my treadmill workout. As he was climbing the mountain, I had my treadmill on 6 or 7 grade and running at 7 mph for those minutes. If he could do (walk) it, so could I (run it). The same with Joelle's failure to run for 30 seconds. I busted out a sprint for a minute at a time (5x) until the treadmill overheated. Find your source of motivation and put that in front of you. Why the weight loss? I made a video on the topic, and for me there were lots of negative (like buddies being deployed without me or amusement park rides) to positive ones (being a better dad for my kids).

Thanks for reading.
