Another busy game and EMT class day. My team at work had to go out to eat to celebrate / mourn a team member moving on to a different position with the company. The Italian steakhouse we went to was difficult to do low carb as most of the menu was either sandwiches or pasta. The listed salads were also extremely expensive for lunch ($12-13), so that was why I picked the Half & Half which featured an unlimited salad with half sandwich. An Italian beef panini with no bread wasn’t too bad. :-D

7:30 AM

1 cup lettuce salad, 1 oz bacon bits, 2 TBS Caesar, 1 oz Parmesan cheese. 8 Chicken Wing Drummettes.

11:45 PM

Half & Half @ Biaggi’s (Italian Steakhouse) – 2 cups Romaine Lettuce, 4 TBS Caesar Dressing, 2 oz Parmesan Cheese, 4 oz Italian seasoned roast beef, onions, peppers, mozzarella cheese

5:00 PM

2 oz Peanuts, 4 oz ground beef, 1 cup lettuce, 2 TBS Gino’s Parmesan Dressing, 1 oz bacon bits, 1 oz Parmesan cheese.

9:00 PM

4 slices thick-cut bacon.

Given the circumstances, I think you did really well, Kent.

Good job on sticking to the two cans of diet pop. How does that feel? Is your body adjusting easily to the reduction or is it a harder battle?

The pop thing is still pretty rough, and I am getting tired sooner than I normally did. I am still staying up to the same hour, but I am seeing a lack of energy past 9 pm at night. That is the roughest thing of all at this point.

That just sounds like a bit of a caffine addiction. Once you get over it, am sure you will be grand :D Keep going Ken(t) slim those coke cans down!

I know how hard it is to beat the diet soda addiction, but it CAN be done, Kent. You’re getting there, buddy!

Hi,

Just as Jonno said, the energy thing will get a lot better over time. Your body was out of balance and now it’s getting itself sorted again. :)

Keep up the good work!
